Summer Camps Santa Rosa

Hey, y'all. It's been a rough few weeks, but we gotta keep pushing forward. Today, we gotta talk about some devastating news coming out of Santa Rosa. Camp Newman, a beloved Jewish summer camp, was destroyed by flames. Our hearts go out to the campers, staff, and families affected by this tragedy.

Remembering Camp Newman

Camp Newman was more than just a summer camp. It was a place where kids could escape the stresses of everyday life and just be themselves. For many, it was a second home where they formed lifelong friendships and memories.

Unfortunately, the camp was ravaged by the recent wildfires in California. The flames left nothing but rubble and ash in their wake. It's a heartbreaking loss for the Santa Rosa community and all those who cherished Camp Newman.

On a brighter note, we wanted to highlight the 2021 SRU Summer Camps in Santa Rosa. Specifically, their soccer camps for kids. We all know how important it is to stay active and have fun, especially during the summer months. These camps provide a great opportunity for kids to do just that.

At the SRU Grassroots Junior Academy, kids ages 5-10 can learn the fundamentals of soccer and build their skills in a fun, supportive environment. The academy is run by experienced coaches who are passionate about the sport and helping kids grow.

For older kids, there's the SRU Summer Performance Academy. This camp is focused on skill development and fitness training, with an emphasis on teamwork and sportsmanship. It's a great way for kids to take their game to the next level and prepare for the upcoming soccer season.
