Yo, y'all ever heard of juveniles gettin' sent to boot camp? Shit is crazy expensive, but that don't stop parents from sendin' their troubled teens there. I stumbled across some pics of these camps, and let me tell you, it don't look like no summer camp.
Boot Camp #1
Look at this shit. You got these kids in uniforms, with their heads down, lookin' all sad and shit. And what's with the fence behind them? Like they tryin' to keep them in or keep someone else out?
Boot Camp #2
This one don't look no better. Kids lined up with instructors, lookin' like they ready to do some push ups or some shit. And why they gotta wear the same clothes? Ain't they individuals?
I don't know about y'all, but this don't seem like the way to help our youth. Lockin' them up and making them wear the same clothes as everyone else ain't gonna teach them nothin'. We need to invest in programs that help these kids work through their issues and build life skills.
But hey, what do I know? Just a black person sharin' what he see.
